Bridge of Hope BuxMont assists single mothers with children facing homelessness in Upper and Central Bucks County and Montgomery County.  We support women to help secure and maintain permanent housing by providing:

  • One-on-One Case Management
  • Budgeting and Financial Education
  • Goal Planning
  • Connections to Services
  • Resource Development
  • Life Skills
  • Parenting Support
  • Neighborhood Volunteer Support
  • Appropriate level of financial assistance for rent and security deposit

We believe that families are stronger, healthier and more successful when they are in their own housing.  Homelessness/housing insecurity have long lasting traumatic effects on mothers and children.  Mothers often struggle with depression and anxiety for years after experiencing a housing crisis.  Children experience mental and physical health challenges and their education performance is negatively impacted.  Our goal in working alongside single mothers and their children is to have long-lasting impact and positive change for both generations.
