She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Forensic Psychology from Purdue University and a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University. Prior to leading the Bridge of Hope BuxMont team, she served as the Executive Director of Safe Communities in Lancaster, PA, where she focused on child abuse prevention and survivor advocacy. A passionate storyteller, Becky has successfully secured major competitive funding throughout her career. During her time as Program Director for Meals on Wheels in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, she became a nationally recognized grant winner for Meals on Wheels America. Her leadership style is deeply rooted in collaborative, trauma-informed care and building strong community coalitions. Beyond her professional work, Becky is a creative spirit who spent over a decade as a freelance writer and published her first novel in 2018. She lives in Reading with her husband and their beloved rescue cats, and she enjoys unwinding with a good book or television series.
Alyssa Casciello
Program Specialist
Alyssa joined the Bridge of Hope BuxMont team in April 2024. She took on the role of Program Manager, bringing a motivation to explore new ways to support and implement Bridge of Hope’s mission. Alyssa has a passion for aiding Bridge of Hope families in not only establishing safety and stability, but also in supporting the mothers in their journey toward self-worth, empowerment, and independence.
In April 2026, Alyssa transitioned into a new role as Program Specialist, continuing to advance Bridge of Hope’s mission by focusing on program development, sharing the organization’s story with the community, and supporting the team and the families they serve toward lasting stability.
Outside of work, Alyssa and her husband are enjoying life with their twin boys, born in August 2025. Prior to joining Bridge of Hope BuxMont, Alyssa spent six years working in the drug and alcohol addiction field in Philadelphia.
